The New System - “Weed Habitat Groups”

 

Rather than assigning a weed threat on the basis of an NRM region, BCM region or IBRA  region, 12 weed habitat groups have been devised. These are based on the combination of 1. rainfall, 2. soil texture, and 3. vegetation structure (open understorey vs shrub dominated understorey). See Table 2
